So I've had my community tank for about two years now and it's my first real fish tank. I say real because It's the first tank that The fish actually survived for longer than a month or two:grinno:. Anyway I recently set up my 55 gallon mbuna cichlid tank and it's like a dream come true. You see ever since I got my angelfish(who currently resides in the community tank) I just fell in love with cichlids. Thier personality and aggression especially. SO I recently lost one of my angelfish. The pair had two broods over the years and although I loved breeding them, the fry never lasted long because I din't have the equipment to care for them. SO I kinda quit on the whole thing. DOn't get my wrong I love angelfish but I just feel like right now in my life I can't take care of two fish tanks. I have my 55 gallon my leopard geckos and I plan on getting a savannah monitor soon which will require some work. I'm only fourteen so I just can't do it all right now. I don't have the money, the time, or the space anymore. Maybe when I'm older and have my own place I can get back into angelfish.

So the point of this long story was for hopefully you guys to help me or give me I deas on how I can sell this tank. I wasn't really sure what section to put it in so I chose this one. Any suggestions?

There are many places to sell tanks.
Some of the best are ebay, craigslist, aquabid, and here.

go on your local craigslist and charge infinitely more than it's worth, and you will find a rube who wants to buy it. I can't think of any other reason why you see so many broken down 55g setups selling for $500.

In the MFK classifieds there's a Maryland-specific thread. Try there. Is it the 29G you're selling? I'm in the market for a 55 and a 75 (or larger :D)

Good luck

craigslist is probably the best bet.

The classifieds here work well. You could do craiglist, but most of the time it's overpriced crap. Price yours slightly lower than that - you can still make it slightly overpriced - and you should be able to get rid of it.
