I am thinking about starting my own mealworm/superworm farm... I think its a fantastic idea to save money and give my fish a good live alternative.
And I understand gutloading your mealworms is a fantastic Idea... But i have no idea how... Do i have to grind it up? or can i just throw it into the mixture of oats... Of course i am using oats and carrots are a source of substrate/water and coloring but I have alot of old fish fish food and my fish arent too big a fan of hikari pellets. they are on a pellet strike right now. But either way Please! teach me your ways!
also i heard that Darkling beetles/superworm beetles are not fliers... and oscars love them. My arowana and oscars should make quick meals out of them.
And also Dead darkling beetles that arent dead from pesticides but in the farm.. can i feed them to my fish as well?
