I have had success with easy native fishes in my area to my fish tank. Chubs and bullheads I have had easy success with. But I want to try and keep some larger species of fish like white bass or channel catfish. And the only possible way for me to obtain these fish is through catching them. But after that matter, how would you introduce them to a fish tank? Do you treat them like any other fish or is there some needed extra steps. I would appreciate your tips. You drop them in. I would highly recommend putting them through quarantine first then redecorate your tank and add the new fish during feeding and kill the lights. Good luck
Its good to have a separate tank. You don't want to introduce a new parasite to your fish. Try buying from a private dealer, or professional business.
