I just walked for two hours in the pouring rain and bitter cold to get to a hardware store that sells PVC elbows for my second DIY overflow, considering the first one weakened after a while.

What's the most outrageous thing you have done to keep your fish happy and healthy?
 
Drove 250 miles to pick up a bigger tank
 
would the first one not hold up until the rain stopped?

I gave up *** one night because I was too into finishing my inwall planted tank. My gf was not happy and next time the moment came she was a smart a** and ask if I am sure I wouldnt rather "Sleep with the fish"

Get married to her and you'll find out just how much of a smartass she can be LOL... it gets WAY Worse after the ring is on.

But you'll also learn that Women are HUGE babies when they get "rejected"... then make fun of us for pouting when they reject us... go figure!!!
 
well
i did carry and cichlid pike in water bag under my arm pit (warmer place) for 1+ in freezing temperature , not to get her cold
 
Dismantle the entire house to get in my 350G, taking doors and frames off taking window sills and windows out lol

i was out wif mates 1 night when i get a call from my parents saying the power to the house had died. drove home in 13mins (normally 35-40mins away) and started boiling water and doing water changes like crazy to keep the tank temp above 28degrees. My local tap water comes out a steady 7ph .. thank god for that :) .. 4hrs later the power came back on ... my silver was very appreciative... and my arms killed..
 
Staying up with my fish using a tube to blow some oxygen into their tank... (This was when we were without power for like 3 days..) I would do this to all my tank and repeat....and this was not fun but love my fish too much to let them die.
