My Royal L190 seems malnourished and skinny to me. But he is eating, he pounds down fish fillets like you wouldnt believe, he also eats his veggies. I feed him veggies 2 or 3 times a week, and the fish he eats whatever the other fish dont eat. His belly isnt sunken in, but his eyes dont seem to be popping out. Should I be worried? W/C are done weekly. Usually 50% or more considering my high bioload.

Couple of things you want to look for....the L190 is a wood/veggie eater, try to give more veggies than fish fillets. If it eats a lot and is still very skinny it may have intestinal worms and need to be dewormed.
this is the absolute worst thing to be feeding him, espicially if he is already skinny. Panaque species can not have a steady diet rich in protein, it causes major intestinal problems. Keep a steady supply of vegggies available. your best bet would probably be sweet potato as it lasts a few days before it starts to dissolve and cloud water
This is kind of off topic but you can feed plecos sweet potatos? I didn't know that. Do all plecos like sweet potatos?
yes, most do. Every pleco i've had loves it. Just cut it, Stab it, And sink it
Bigger ones loves them...smaller ones have difficulties. I give them zucchini...my gold nugget, blue phantom, sailfin and loaches can finish one every 2 days

I dont purposely feed him fish pieces. Those are meant for my cichlids. I have wood for him to eat already. I have Sweet potatos he never showed interest in them.
