How do you like my tank?

its quite colourful eh? i had to buy a bunch of different colours in order to get it like that :P. who knew it could go from black and orange to that!
 
i feel bad for your fish, its like their living in a circus in a room full of clowns with that gravel. i like to try and recreate nature but thats just me. Sorry im a harsh critic. I just view fish keeping as trying to recreate nature as much as you possibly can to what they would feel in the wild. I think that way of life makes for a happier fish. But keep at it theres always room for improvement and i say the same thing about myself. I can always improve

I'm not a fan of the rainbow gravel. The fish seem to love swimming through the artificial decorations. :) It's not my style as I like to keep things more natural looking but the tank looks clean and stock looks healthy. I like the simplicity of your stock and that's it's a nice community stock that allows everything to get along well and that they move around a lot making the tank real lively. :thumbsup:
 
thats alot of decor and i know that you must love your fish to spend that kinda money on each piece. im like you tho i love getting small fish and watchign them grow rather then buying them big already

I doubt the fish care about the gravel or decor. To them just a place to hide. Can they even see colors? My 85 is all black quartz gravel and bogwood but I actually like the playfull ness of your tank. I like the bubbler of the statue with the face---kinda creepy--LOL Cool tank! thanks for posting!
 
no need to feel bad all critics are welcome :) my fish seem alot happier with the brighter rocks now, i had black gravel with a few neon rocks here and there with heavy plants and they basically stayed in one place, as soon as i got the brighter colours they seem to explore more, im not sure why, but if they're happy so am i! thanks for the comment :)
