i herd that its a cross between a king kong and a flowerhorn but my friend breeds king kong with flowerhorn but it dont look like the killin parrot

it takes alot more than fh x kkp or bp. i don't know how to make them, but that combe makes kamfa, not kirins. i bred fh x bp and none of the fry got the bp body.
none of mine look short bodied. well any shorter than the father anyway. i was hoping to shorten them up a little. what they do get for certain is the big fan tail and nice parrot fins. some fade, some do not. mine are still pretty small. they all have the fan tail, but i will have to wait longer to see what colors they get.
There are a couple of fish that when you cross with a parrot you get parrots but FH x parrot wont produce parrot looking fish.
My guess is its 2-3 gens +

i have some older pics in my thread in the flowerhorn media lounge. i will post some more soon because they are pushing 1 inch now (with the fins) you can see the shape that they are going to have and none have the extreme short body of a parrot. i have seen i inch parrot fry before and they have the shape at that point.azn_boy AKA fish freak;2843932; said:
