Ive got my sump all laid out, but i cant figure out how to mount the pump. Ive made a smaller sump that I used a powerhead for and it has suction cups so i didnt need to mount it. This one is a bit more tricky though.

How do you mount the pump in your DYI sump?

Id just match up acouple piecee of Plexi drill mounting holes in one then silicone the 2nd over that, an if your sump isnt full of water then silicone it where you want it. If your sump is full an working you can use Mr Stickys underwater glue to secure the mount.

I use a submersible pump in my sumps, one I have just sitting there on a bit of bio foam to reduce vibration, the other one has a suction cup base which I use to stick it to the bottom of the sump.
