How do you perform the hperlink?

I am curious how many of you create a url hyperlink in a thread. In other words, when you make a reference to jump to another site or thread the word "here" appears and all you have to do is click on it. I always just copy and paste the shortcut or url. Is this feature only availble to the staff because of the site software installed on their computer? I know how to create a hyperlink in Microsoft Access or Excel but can't figure how you do it here.

So the link goes after the http:// and the text you want goes where it says URL text...

All you have to do is when you are composing your message, click on the hyperlink shortcut icon located next to the image icon above the composition board and it will ask you for the text you want to typ "Here" and then the URL. Voila, its done.

OK got it . Not surprizingly I was doing it just backwards .
Thanks everyone . Glad you brought this up Bobby , I had been wondering the same thing . Sometimes I am pretty numb . Maybe I should leave the sometimes out .
