How do you predrill your own tank?????????

Is predrilling a tank something you can do yourself? Can it be done with affordable tools from lowes or homedepo, or does it require a more precise high dollar tool. Can you take your tank to a glass making factory that cuts glass and have them drill it for you???

Any one can do it. Here are a couple of videos showing how to do it. Just make sure you put a towel in the tank to catch the piece of glass that you drilled.

you can have it taken to a glass specialist to drill-thats what i would do.. besides, you need to know if the glass is tempered (meaning, if you try to drill it, it will spiderweb into a million little pieces ) or non tempered (meaning you can drill it and get a clean cut). i dont know how you can tell if its tempered or not--maybe someone else can tell you..
