Hi, i was just curious about how you guys prevent the heater from burning the the stingray?
I just want to see a couple idea so i can get a head up.

I currently have a marble ray in a 180 with two ebo-jager heater on each side. Any idea on what i should do or should i leave it as is because nothing has happen to my pup but im just curious to be safe than sorry.

Lets hear some comments.

Thanks!

thanks for the comment im running a fx5 on the tank no sump.

Take 1.5 inch PVC and cut a little longe than heater. Drill as many holes as possible
so water will move through it. cap the ends if needed.
I prefer the stealth heaters myself, although some say they still get hot enough
to burn.

Shadow are u currently using the pvc piping ?

I use the stealth heaters. But that (PVC) is what was recommended to me, but went with the stealth instead.

any good website that would sell the stealth for a good price?

thanks bro!!

or just keep them vertical and off the bottom of the tank.... if they are mid tank (corners work well) they cant burn them selves
