about 2 months ago i bought a medium amazon plant when i putted it in my 55 the Sev and oscar nipped the leaves and uprooted them, i rehomed the damaged plants in my 20 gallon tank, gave them 12 hours of light and there the damaged leaves DID NOT grow but instead turned worst and grew crippled with holes, but then i saw tiny leaves coming out of the gravel(BTW the root(s) were planted deeply in my 1.25" height of Gravel) i only have an inch of gravel which is FINE, the new leaves that are growing are in good conditions yellow some turning green and growing straight and FAST, i do not put iron fertilizer but my question is: how do you remove the dead old leaves? i am only caring for the new baby ones also is this normal? dont amazon sword plants reproduce once they are full grown?
