I have a group of 9 that I have raised from fry. They are now 1" to 1.5" and some are amazingly deep blue. I was just wondering if they are easy to sex. I know that you can only have one dominate male in a small tank. How long do I have untill I need to worry about this?

when they reach maturity they will change color... at about that time you can vent them to be sure...
adult males will be yellowish orange....females blue...they all start off as blue ....
i have seen males start to turn about two and a half inches....sub dominant males might change a bit from the purer blue...but will be kept tightly in check by a dominant male....it can be agressive and hairy, so hope you have a few females...it keeps that big bad boy busy, and disperses his attention a bit...

maybe all of them, depending on tank mates. I had and I was so unhappy with my tank and I had tons of rocks same amount of rock I have in a 135 now with two large piles on each end. The day I took him out all my fish started swimming the tank again... It was much better...
