how do you sex pearsei cichlid

i know this is the breeding section but nobody in the cichlid section knows how to sex them if you now tell me please thanks for replying

Im currious to find this out as well, i just recently bought to from a supplier and ones always lit up and flashy while the other seems washed out and not so flashy. I was wondering if i have a m/f, or what..

In my opinion the best and the most accurate way to sex it is a pic of the vent... But it's absolutely not the only way.
Another way- males are larger than females and they have a bigger head. Males are also more colorful than females...
What you describe sounds like a male and female but upload a pictures of them if you have any doubt.
