How do you ship your fish?

Do you use pure oxygen, which no LFS seems to have in my area, bag buddies or ammonia lock?

Lots of people use different methods. Ive shipped a few fish using air from a air pump to blow up the bag. Others use pure oxygen. There is a few different ways the best thing to do is ask reputable venders how they do theirs.

Regular compressed air, bit of prime, and styrofoam cooler. Prime can also neutralize ammo and trites. Ohh and water. Water is important lol.

Tank water, fast for 2-3 days, air. I use to use bag buddies but i dont know if those things expire so i dont anymore.

When I ship fish I do a large water change a few days before they are getting shipped and I fast them from that point on. Then I double or triple bag them with 1/3 water and 2/3 air. Put them in a styro lined box and pack newspaper around them so they don't bounce around in the box. Use a heatpack if needed. With larger fish you can also line the bag with duct tape so they don't puncture the bag as easily. For small fry/guppies/inverts I use breather bags.
