How do you shut up a happy CL?

My Juvi Cls learned how to click today. Now they won't stop. 3 under 5" the smallest one is a little over 2". It's a planted tank over run with java moss and Malaysian trumpet snails. And it's in my bedroom.


They went ape when they got their dinner 4 hours ago. 2 algae wafers, a brine shrimp wafer, and a frozen cube of vegetable medley. It's all gone and they're still in top form. It's louder then my TV and window AC.


I know they hate the pimafix/melafix and I thought about dosing just to get some sleep. I'm not gonna so any better ideas?

they make really loud smacking sounds, usually they do this when they are trying to tear apart some food.

Yep. Clicking sounds. I hear them do that whenever they eat shrimp pellets.

I have yet to hear mine make clicking sounds...

Try algae wafers though I've never tried them. I've heard that these ones tend to make the loaches click.

ive never heard mine either and i use algae wafers. guess i need to listen harder
