Odd title I know but I was wondering how the people on here store cuts of fish that they use to feed their fish? I had a cstfish a while back that I was trying to get to eat tilapia, a small guy, it wasn't like he could go through a whole filet in a week.
I'm assuming it's normal to freeze the fish and cut off the amounts you need as you need them then let them defrost or something?

Also I wasn't sure where this should go so...

You could cut appropriate size peices of the fillet. I use a strong cutting knife that allow me to cut while fillet is still frozen. Once done put back in the freezer before it thaws completely.

I freeze most of the fish and break of a bit of it that would last a couple feedings. I then defrost that and cut it up into small peices, it lasts a couple days in the fridge after defrosting

Ahh I see, thanks for answering.

I buy fresh filets and cut them into desired size. I place this into a gallon size freezer bag and lay flat to arrange it into a single layer. I do this so that once frozen I can still break it up into single pieces of fish to thaw and feed when I need it.

I just keep em in the freezer in sealed airless bags, can last years if cold enough, to dethaw the pieces (bitesize) I just put them in cups or bowls of warm water
