Check out AP. They have a thread going about sexing PB. A technique referred to as venting allow the sex differentiation before they get big and mature.

This is a female. The sexy hole at the back of the crap hole is bigger. For males the Sexy hole is smaller or the same size as the crap hole. Learned this from the Aquatic Predator web site.
