aros are very difficult to sex
and they don't breed in aquaria, the only time i have read someones aro laying eggs in a tank is delgados silver aro,but ther wasn't any male in the tank at the time it laid eggs
usually breeders breed aros in huge swimming pool like ponds

Try to search for videos in youtube. I've seen some aros there breeding in action and they made a loud noise or something after they mate.
