how does everyone take pics of thier fish?

i was wondering how does everone take pics of their fish next to a tape measure? everytime i try to do this the fish just flop around.

i've always wondered that as well. You also get some pics of people holding their fish. Not in a net. I've always wondered how they do that and doesn't it stress the fish out?

If you've seen my techniques, you'd realize I really don't have any. My posted pics are usually the result of pure luck.

my royals was moving tanks as my jags had eggs, getting these with a net can be a mess as they get stuck in them so i fine catching them by hand is the best was, and also less stressful (well thats IMO)

and these pics was taken after the fish have been in a box 4 a L...O...N...G time so was "fioppy"

i got that jag (male) a mate and he killed her
so put the RD in with him and he killed the Jag (they was about the same size)
