I love watching my two poly's. Young and full of energy. They seem to float on the tips of their tails. Badass! So how do they do it? without moving pectoral fins just seem to hover in "mid water"
Airbladder compression gives them the edge they need to become neutrally buoyant. Like a submarine, they can dial in a specific depth and hold it there.
Thanks everyone! I didn't know that about their airbladder. The tank is a 125. There are also 2 giboceps and a royal pleco in their. I have seen the polys gulp air from time to time.
