1 x Female Pterophyllum scalare (Koi Angel)
4 x Red Head Tapajos (Geophagus sp. RHT)
1 x Rotkeil Severum (Heros Sp. Rotkeil)
1 x Red Spotted Severum (Heros Efaciatus)
1 x Female Hypsophrys nicaraguensis
1 x Female Archocentrus nigrofasciatus (Convict Cichlid)
3 x Metynnis argenteus (Silver Dollars)
10 x Serpae Tetras (Hyphessobrycon eques)
1 x Ancistrus Sp. (Bristlenose Plec)
1 x Gold Nugget Plec (L081)

so far the sizes are...Angel = adult, Sevs = juvis, Nic = sub adult, rht = sun adult, convict = 1", dollars = 3", plecs = 5".

I'm open to rehoming the Con or the Nic if they become a problem

It sounds a little busy. I think that the sevs could be a problem as they get bigger....

Does this sound better?

1 x Female Pterophyllum scalare (Koi Angel)
4 x Red Head Tapajos (Geophagus sp. RHT)
1 x Rotkeil Severum (Heros Sp. Rotkeil)
1 x Red Spotted Severum (Heros Efaciatus)
1 x Female Hypsophrys nicaraguensis
3 x Metynnis argenteus (Silver Dollars)
5 x Serpae Tetras (Hyphessobrycon eques)
1 x Ancistrus Sp. (Bristlenose Plec)

like you said in the first post, just watch the aggression on the nic, otherwise it shouldn't be too bad

So do you think my original list is ok?

The Nic hated my Green Terror of the same size so i swapped it for a beautiful white adult Angel earlier today...The only fish it is really bothering is my Red Head Tapajos...it doesent bother any of the other Cichlids.

She does hate me tho and threatens my hand if in the the tank.....unless im holding blood worms ;) lol

You swaped the nic so its not in the line up anymore?

I was going to say why have a south american tank with one c. American cichlid in it. But if you swaped it for an angel...... I think it should be ok. The second list seems better. You never know till you try though.

No i swapped the Green Terror....i was going to offload it later on anyway but it was getting beat up loads.

The Nics actually settled down today.

The only reasons i have the Nic is one shes beautiful and 2 she was dirt cheap and 3 she was in my old CA set up....as was my beautiful little female Convict.

At the end of it... the Female Nic cost me £3 and the Female Convict cost me nothing (i bred her myself) so if i have to offload them..its not going to leave me out of pocket :P

Whats your views on the rest of my stocking....other than the non Amazon fish i already own..i have tried to keep it as 'Amazon' as possible.

Seems solid. As stated there might be some issues but they could be fixed along the way. If your nic is pretty chill then you should be ok but I've had some weird things happen with severums before they are for the most part docile but I have seen them mean as can be too. Just read your fish. There bejavior is always the best indicator if something is wrong.

I personally wouldent do the nic because of geography bu that's just me. Other then that I think it sounds like a nice stock load. Oh and I would keep the 10 tetra and the gold nugget. That's just what I would do. So I guess I would go with the first list without the two c. American cichlids.
