it needs decluttered IMO. the decorations seem to take away from the fish. I would remove the pot for sure, get rid of a lot of the small rocks, and maybe get rid of the big plant.

and if you have the many a better light ALWAYS helps. helped my tank a ton.

but everyone has different preferences in tanks. Do what YOU like.

my problem is the pot's and rock's around all form small cave's underneath so the smaller snakehead's have got a retreat which they use, the flowerpot is on another thing which forms a cave which the obscura has taken to making his home, I know it's cluttered but thats why he big plants are on the side for the snakeheads to hide in, thanks for the advice, i bet again i will change it

I would remove everything and replace it with a big amazonssword and some medium sized rocks around it. Then you have a clean look to work with, cause I believe the SHs need some hiding spots.
