33 Gallon Flatback Hex tank. Will have alot of plants slate rock wood and sand. So it will be plenty hiding spaces.

I seen these fish at my lfs and im thinking

1 or 2 Orange Cockatoo Apisto

1 or 2 Rainbow Cichlids (Herotilapia/Archcentrus multipinosa)

1 or 2 Buffalo/Lion Head Cichlids

1 Firemouth(Im thinking ill skip this one)

5 Dwarf Puffers if possible

Ill probably pick 1 of those to do a pair and maybe keep the other ones single. Im up in the air still really. Im just trying to get a blueprint on what i want to do 1st.

I know it sounds crazy a lil bit:nilly:

Hi, afraid its not good news dont think they will all work in that size tank just too many cichlids in there IMO

Of the ones listed the most suited would be the Apisto, Rainbows or FMs. I think if it were me I would do 1 FM and 1 Rainbow or a trio or Apsito (1 male 2 female) or a pair of Apisto and 1 Rainbow maybe?

I am unfamiliar of the buffalo cichlid but there are a few it could be and I dont think any of them would work for the tank (feel free to corect me there though)

And with the DPs they are just too nippy to put in with other fish their beaks can do a lot of damage and also because of their small size they could be seen as snacks by things like the FM

Personally I would go for the FM and the Rainbow and get some medium/small cats like Brochis Catfish and then big tetras like Bleeding hearts or Columbian tetras
