I need a little help stocking my tank

How is this for a 100 gallon standard aquarium?
-BGK
-Senegal Bichir
-fire eel
-severum
-small geophagus

How does this sound? if its not good what would you remove? I kind of want to keep the cichlids if that isnt a problem, because I already have them growing out to a point until they are big enough to not be eaten by the planned predators of this tank.

It sounds fine, but what is the filtration? Also, make sure you have some caves and rockwork for hiding places.

For filtration I was gonna eaither do an emperor 400 and an emperor 280, or if that isnt enough, I could do 2 400's

I was going to have a sand bottom, black background, lots of gnarly, "root-system-ish" driftwood, and some amazon sword plants. I figured the fish that liked to hide would be okay with all the driftwood.

I am glad the stocking sounds good!

You need more filtration. Maybe a Magnum on that tank as well.

Fire eels can get up to 48". They grow slowly, however.

I would say that a 100 gallon is fine for a fire eel. They are long skinny fish that aren't very active. They don't dart around the tank like danios so they don't need a whole lot of swimming room. As long as it has a place to hide out the eel should be fine for awhile.
