How far would you go?

I wiped out on my bike yesterday. Luckily I had my camera and ended up taking a few shots of all my wounds. They're nothing composition wise, and i'm not sure how one might make them such, seeing as they really are about blood, shock and records of my first major wipe-out.

still.. I'm not crazy am I? Seemed logical to take some shots.. I mean, how often do you get this kind of chance ;-) :lol:

sorry to hear about your spill. i guess your ok, never seen someone hurt too badly taking pictures of their wounds.

hehe.. yeah, not too bad, tore up one knee and road rash on the other knee and arms and palms. the bad knee only needed 4 stitches, but it was uuuugly! big ole' hole in it a cm deep.

i'm not even achy or sore :-D, just can't move fast ;-)

I chopped off one of my fingers once with an axe. Fortunately it was in winter in the snow and its location was readily visible. When they were re-attaching it in the local hospital, under local anaesthetic, the surgeon asked me if I wanted to watch the procedure. I politely declined and turned my face to the wall. I wouldn't have taken pictures either!!

Dang...that's pretty extreme. Have had stitches on my fingers before. Two on the left and three on the right. Left was from a lawnmower...and the right from a swiss army knife...
