They should grow really fast....

The best way I have found to track growth is to take pics every month. You won't always see the growth because you see him everyday. With the pics you can look back and see progress. Also keep track of how often he sheds.

it certainly couldnt hurt.

You should be giving him plenty of supplemts so he should be getting enough calcium anyways. But I won't hurt anything.


What kind of a diet do you have him on right now?

Also proper temps and tank setups also help reps thrive. So as long as he has a good diet and he has proper heat and such he should be good.
