On the best possible diet and with the best possible water quality, how fast will bristlenose pleco fry grow? Let's set the start and end point to be the moment they lose the yolk sac to the moment they hit sexual maturity. I know it can take super reds like a year and a half to 2 years to hit sexual maturity, meanwhile I've heard normals, chocolates, l144s and green dragons hit it in under a year. Then calicos and albinos are somewhere inbetween. But does anyone have any more precise numbers?
I might as well ask about l034s and l255s (the normal and spotted medusa plecos) as well as l183s (starlight bristlenose) while I'm at it, how fast do those grow from the same start and end point? I have some idea of the years it takes starlight bristlenose to get to any substantial size.

This is near impossible to answer.
There are so many variables.
The best thing for growth of any fish would be quality food and water with plenty of space.
The more you can spread out the spawn numbers and not crowd the little ones the faster they will grow.
In my experience with albino bristle nose it takes close to 6 months to reach inch and half and probably a year to get to 2 1/2 to 3 inches
