Depends on the type of Cichlid, water quality, diet etc.

Cichlids is to broad of a term, cause there are thousands of species and then sub species .... but if we knew what species your needing info about I am sure someone here could help ya out

Yeah. Alot of different variables there. It depends greatly on the fish itself along with diet and parameters as well as tank size.

If you fed him some good pellet as well, like Hikari Cichlid Gold for example, and change a minimum of 50% of the water each week, I'd say an inch a month. I also wouldn't use feeders.

little more expensive but seems to greatly increase growth
