How fast do Dats grow?

Lets say a 4" Microlepsis in a 100g tank, almost no other tankmates, good filteration, waterchanges 1-2 times a week and well fed.
How long will it take him to get to 8"?

Would be a while datnoids grow incredibly slow.

FOREVER!!!! ... my dats look to be the same size .. had them for a few months now .. they grow PAINFULLY slow .. almost so slow i might have to take them out and put them in a 75 solo for a bit so my rays and Pbass dont have them as a snack

is this common?? they eat everything i put in the tank .. good water .. but just dont put on much size

To 7 inches 1 year. Get em on massivore and frozen fish/shrimp. After 7 inches they slow down. My dat that only eats shrimp grew slower about 1.5 years to get to 7 inches.

I got my IT at about 3.5" long a little over a year ago. He's now about 5.5-6" long, I'd say. I haven't actually measured him, but judging against other fish I have measured, it seems accurate.

Hi jakob. Circumstances as above... 12-15 months.. After 8 inch, roughly an inch a year.
But once u go monster tank and filtration... Those time figures can start to reduce...

like others said they grow very slow i had one for two years and it grew only a inch.
