How fast do featherfins grow!?

As title states, I had a look at my eupterus today while feeding; looks to have grown a lot in the space of 3 months, I thought catfish in general grew slowly, but then I'm maybe thinking of Raphael's etc

mine went from 2" to easily 4" in about 2 months. you aren't imagining it they grow damn quick.
 
When small they grow fast. Once they hit that 6-7" mark then it's slow. Mine's been at 7" for a year now. It seems to have just stopped growing and getting fatter.
 
isn't 7" around the general max growth of the species in the aquarium trade? like aroun 11"ish in the wild.
 
I've also seen him show my GT who's boss lol, interesting fish!

One of mine who I got at about 2" is now maybe 4-5" and I've had him about two months. My big one 6-7" that I bought about 2 months ago hasn't grown a hair.
