how fast do FH's grow

Im thinking of getting one but first question is would he be OK with living with a silver aro and a LMB in a 180 for a year or so. Would they kill eachother (keep in mind the bass has lived with plenty of tinfoils and cat fish and plecos and other bass and never killed a single thing hes just really nice)

personally I'd be amazed if you can keep a lmb and a silver together.. unless the large mouth was a wee baby at first.. I have a flowerhon im keeping with an oscar a bluegill and several other aggressive guys. was a silver in there.. he was 19" but jumped ship a month ago the FH could grow anywhere from 1/4" to almost an inch a month... depends...

well the LMB is 7 inches and the arowana is about 13 and they love each other.... they always feed at the same time at the same spot and never fight for the food. Its like they take turns

The Fh might go after the LMB or the arow but the LMB could try to eat the FH if its smaller..... Or everything could be happy.. My FH i got when it was 1" and i did water changes about every week or every other week, feed it properly, and had proper filtration and in 3 moths it went from 1" to 3-4"

FH's are pretty agressive..if you do get it, keep an eye on them..

yes i second that very aggressive mine i kept alone in a 75g he was very beautiful and very active, always coming to the glass, thats a nice cohab you got going there, good luck keep us posted!

fh grow prety slow but more average i guess. delgado has a 1 year difference photo of his fh that he's housing with a huge silver aro. it went from like 3-4" to about 10-12" in a year or so. but mine, went from 2" to about 6-7" in 2 years. but she lived a rough life. great fish

depending on its food and aquarium size.

If your current fish are big than the FH, the FH will grow slower. and the other way around.

the fastest i have experienced so far is from 1 inch to 3 inches in two months.

given the fact that you will feed it high protein food, the fh will grow fast.

i recommend that you do not get a flowerhorn as a tankmate.
