How fast do fish grow???

Wondering just how fast my fish will grow...Gold Barbs, Parrot Cichlids, Bala shark...like 1 inch every 3 months, 6 months or any ideas?? I have no idea at what rate fish grow......

Also any suggestions on lighting type that will bring out the yellow in fish?? My barbs look orange instead of yellow like at the store and think this is because my light has blue tint????

I'm sure most people will say depends on it's living environments (such as tank space & water quality) and diets.

Gold barbs should be fast growers. If you're referring to Puntius semifasciolatus, they grow to 2" only.

Depends on your environment and lighting spectrums. If I were you, switch to daylight and use black substrate and background. Pink lights make them appear almost orange as well.

The balas will be the slow growers.
