how fast does a datnoid grow? help!

In general they grow slow compared to most other fish. I started with a few NTT's, NGT's and AT's around 1.5-3". So far the AT's grow the fastest and they are the least picky eaters. I've had my collection for ~2-3months and they grown noticeably. However I hear that it takes years to get them to the 2' range.
 
dats are pretty slow grower. That's why they are so expensive when they reach pass 1'..
