How Fast will an African Lung grow

and will they accept tankmates

how big is your tank?....and they get fat quick, depending on how much you feed them.

i might keep my 150 if i get one but yeah a 150 would be its tank size

most are aggressive.
but ive kept one which is fine with tankmates.
they grow pretty quick until they reach 20 inches.

One of mine started growing faster after it hit 20 inch...when they are in good shape they can start growing up to an inch per month.....I would not recommend tankmates.

mine grew around 1 - 2 inches a mth until 20 inches.
then slowed down ALOT.

umm dimensions are 6' x 18" x 27"

your gonna need a 180 minimum, 18" is too skinny for life and the 27" height is much too tall for a small specimen, they need easy acess to the surface without having to work to get there.

that shwa ti thought about the 20" okay so ill still slel my 150

27 hight is great just don't fill it till the top..just half way. this way your lung can not escape.
