I just bought 10 comet goldfish for 27c each at petsmart. How fast will they breed in a 60 gallon tank? (The water is only filled with 5 gallon atm).

well.....you need two mature fish..witch takes about 5 years..and 60 gallons probably inset enough for even two to breed in..they get HUGE and produce tons of waste.
I believe a goldfish, (any goldfish) has to be 3-5yrs old. They need very clean, cool water, and lots of space.
agreed, it took three years before i had a spawn of goldfish in my pond, its a 300gal, and they were little feeders like u have. I started with a dozen and theyd slowly dissapear due to cats and raccoon so occasionally id add another dozen or so. after a couple years including some winters where the pond froze over completelt i had about 2 dozen goldfish in there, some big some small. one day i came out and had a buncha eggs on the side of the pond.... the eggs hatched and i had fry for 2 days.... then they were gone.
