I feed my 6" dat 2-3 times a day. For my. 5" dat i feed 1 a day because hes so small he cant fit massivores into his mouth & frozen bloodworms have to be cut into Very small portions. Everybody gets fed at least once a day though. :)

Reviving this thread, VERY interesting. My question to all the people that know more than me (most everyone here)...... I have a 6" IT, my first, that will only occasionally eat prepared foods. I know it is my fault, due to poor training. His main diet is FD krill. Scarfs tons of it down, and is pretty darn fat. My concern is fat content, 18%. I know from research that is mostly good fat, but I can't find much info about adverse health issues to a figh fat diet. Krill has around 60% protein, which is why I feed so much. Does anyone else feed lots of krill, and if so, what do you think about it?
Thanks

A few of my indos would hammer fd krill. I like to feed almost as a dessert after they took out the main course. They craved it so much at times, they could be full of what ever else i was feeding, but always have room for some fd krill. But i did have a couple indos that would only eat it and basically nothing else and they did not grow very fast, so in my experience it worked best as a supplemental food.

Thanks, Jay. Good to hear your experience. I am planning on getting more after I move at the first of the month, and want to make sure everyone is healthy as possible.

I feed mine 6"-11" daily, massivore delight pellets

is just a bunch of bull**** i can say,is not what type of food gd for your fish,IS HOW MUCH YOUR FISH CAN TAKE IN READY.
my ngt refuse to eat anything else just mainly on shrimp for the past yrs,and is big round and huge.pls check out the video.
is not how many time u feed or how many type of food been given to them to make them fast grow, even **** can make your fish big and huge if he agree to take in.
if your fish dont want to eat,u feed them alblone or even feed 10x a day, your fish still will not grow.

dat are main for slow grow, only those big eater will grow much faster then those normal ones.
most of the fresh water topical fish take pellet,i dont see other fish that take in pellet will had fast grow.what so special if dat take in pellet?if pellet can make a fish grow fast and huge,i believe u will see all the fish over the internet are big and huge.thanks for reading.

Now that's going a little far.

pls dont get offenced, mean nothing,is just an exsample.

who is the one who say fish need many type of food and is gd for the fish?the fish told u that?
this are all mindset and one follow the other, and we are using human thing to do on the fish.
a cow can just rely on grass to grow,a whale can just rely on one type of food and grow this huge,
a pelco can just rely on algae and a koi can live just on a type of food and the live spent can grow as long as an human,so what does this mean?pls dont come tell me they are diff, there are much more thing to compare if u want.
