HOW GOOD ARE FEEDERS?

Hello,
Right now we have a baby
Rtc,tsn,rtcxtsn,local caught channel catfish.
All of these guys are between 1''-3''

How good are feeder small guppies and feeder
brine shrimp and ghost shrimp?
Our local offer most feeders 10/$1.00
but how healthy are these guys especially
ghost shrimp and feeder guppies?

Feeders aren't bad if you take care of them first. Heres what I did for my gator gar. I kept between 50-100 in a 40gal that had about 30x turn over. I used a auto feeder to feed 2-4pellets of massivore every hour. This gave them something to peck at constantly sense they have no stomachs. This way when u feed them to your fish they are basically eating massivore. I would only feed live till they were around 6-8" max though

the guppies and ghost shrimp are the least likely to carry disease, however ghost shrimp have no nutrition, so make sure they eat before you feed them to your fish
