Probably twice as much light as what you need, seems like a decent price though.

Don't care if its twice what I need.
better than the starter kit lights I had planned.

great lights... good price too if you have a canopy you can get a retro kit for cheaper....

HO T5s are great lights. However, I do not like the nova brand.

why don't you like them? also, having a hard time locating stickies on general Q/A w/r/t lighting.

i absolutely LOVE nova's i didn't look at the exact model, but be sure it has the red bulb. i've grown a few african onion plants with them and would not change for the life of me. the next step would be metal halide, which i only use in deeep tanks
