I currently have a 55 and would like another, larger tank as well. The prices are crazy! I found instructions for DIY plywood 140 gal.
Here's the rub: I need to convince my husband to build it. He is not a fish person, but I did pique his interest saying "it's something you can make yourself and show off, it'll save a ton of money". I would like to tell him "it's soooo easy!" but- is it relatively simple? He has basic carpentry skills and tons of great tools (he even has an air compressor sitting in the box unopened) and a brand new table saw.
