To get a 125g tank, take it apart, and then cut the glass between 2" and 1.5' to create a pentagon.
I would obviously need a custom fitted bottom piece and then make a hood...Just thought this might be a cheaper alternative to getting a custom built tank...
The dimensions would be 60" long on one side, ( / ), then 58" on the other side, ( \ ), I think, and then a 1 foot side, ( | ), and a 2 foot side, ( | ) to make a pentagon...If...that makes sense.
Here's a 3d model I made using Google Sketch-up. As you can see, it's a bit of a weird pentagon like shape....Do you think I could accomplish this? Or would it be best to get a professional to come in and do it for me, or just get a custom built tank by someone like Tenecor?
