I just got two baby tiger oscars who are doing so well they nearly jump out of the tank to eat. I used to have a Hawaiin Eel that would eat out of my hand so I think I'll train these guys to do the same. I'll start early so the don't take fingers off later on! Anyone else got fish jumping to eat?

I had two 10" O's that used to do the same thing. O's are very excitable fish when it comes to feeding time. The only fish that I've had that even comes close to my old O's level of excitement at mealtime is the juvenile flowerhorn that I have now. He gets excited, but won't jump out of the water like my O's did.

Every cichlid I own acts like it never ate before. They splash water all over the place when eating.

Columbian Tetras.... these guys are like baby pirhanas. I have a school of 9 in one of my tanks, all food is gone within 30 seconds (1 cube of Brine shrimp, 1 cube beef heart, 1 cube of blood worms).
