Hi Tang lovers

How important is adding Trace Elements to a Tang tank ? I currently have my juvenile Julidochromes (little more than an inch) in neutral water, and they seem to be doing fine, and not complaining - though I feel their color isnt very prominent.
And, if Trace Elements are essential, is there a DIY method to turnout one ?
And, I have an unused well at home, whose water I donot use for the only reason that I am not very sure if it is safe for my fish. So, was wondering if there is any safe and inexpensive way to confirm the water quality, or any treatment that will ensure that the water is safe for my tangs.

As a trace addition to my tanga tank, I add marine salt. The brand is Red Sae. I believe there're traces of the element, at least it says in its manufacturing clause it's enriched with other refined minerals.

Beside this, the other necessaries like Sodium Bicarbonate, Magnesium Sulphate, Calcium Sulphate etc
