How is this overflow

Its rated at 1200gph and says that it won't lose siphon with power outages so I thought it would be good. The pump I'm gonna use for now is only 1100 gph so what do I do put a valve on the overflow to slow it down?

I dont see a middle chamber in the back for the siphon to work

that should be fine. no need to put a valve on the overflow box since the overflow will go as fast as the pump.

You dont need a valve the pump rating is right from the nozzle as you push water through the hose/pvc from the pump the 1100 gph decreases
