Anyone have any ideas how many hundreds of gallons this tank is? Rough measurements would be helpful as well, I know these pictures are well circulated, someone might know the original specs of the tank.

just because he did it doesnt give anyone else the pass to but if thats not what you were intending on doing then go on

Sigh. I'm just curious, I have no desire to keep one of the largest freshwater fish on the planet. :shakehead:shakehead

Photo shopped IMO

mabey just a holding tank during cleaning?

Right, have a look at JohnPTC's thread about moving his pima. Not a fish ya just net out for a cleaning.

huh perhabs we should make some considerations before dumping on the owner like he is a monster ///first take a look a the gigas it seems to be in better health than those ive seen in 50 000 gallons its also amazing that someone can keep a gigas in such a small area without the fish breaking out with a flip of his tail ///could it be that this guy is a more advance aquarist than most of us ,,,again take a look at the fish it projects health without being obese ,,,Iknow that gigas grow to be enormous in larger environment ,,,in this particular case lets find out the facts before jumping on the guy's neck . A pima is magnificent no other freswater fish can compare with a well kept one it is the ceiling of fish keeping/ nothing else comes close .. I am not suggesting to duplicate his actions , just an understanding of where he is coming from maybe we will learn something

How do ya like the arowana I keep in a fish bowl? So if the fish appears to be in perfect health, then tank size does not matter:duh:
