once they start laying eggs you can expect new eggs every 2 or 3 weeks.

with convicts yes if you let them breed then take out the babies they will breed again BUT.... if you leave the babies in its really cool to watch them raise them an they "well mine" dont breed again till the babies are around 1/2 big then they will breed again. but with that said convicts are like people in finding a mate. i had a big female an she killed 2 males before i found a male that was "suitable" to her liking. an i had 2 batches from them.

I have 3 females which are about 1.5 to 2 in and my male is about 2 to 2.5 in and they just swim around two of the females hang very close to the male and the other female just kinda explores and then comes back to his side. What can I look for when they have found a mate or 2.
