So I was curious, its seems like my dats are growing really slow haha. So please list the amount of time you have had them, the size that you got them at, and the size they are now. Dont forget to mention what kind they are.

For me:
Species: IT
Size Received: 2.5"
Size Now: 8"
Time Owned: 2.5 years +

Casper, 3.5" in 6 months isnt too bad at all, is he slowing down yet? Mine seemed to start slowing near the 6-7" range.

Hey sorry totally forgot to reply to this thread. And naw I don't think so if anything he's just getting wider and taller. He's been on pellets for 4 months now and the occasional MP treat. But he pigs out on hikari sinking carnis like there's no tomorrow. I hoping he can break or at least be close to 8" by the time I hit the 1 yr mark. Still contemplating if I wanna do a tigers tank with one pbass or a bass tank with 1 or 2 tigers.

Species: IT
Size received: 0.5"
Size now: 1"
Time owned: 1.5 months-2 months.

sp AT

sp IT

died 16"

time cared for 1,5 year

sp IT

recieved 1"

died 9"

time owned 2 years.

IT, started at 1 inch, 5 years later, it's about 11 inch (quite slow grower, even though eats pellets)
IT, started at 6 inch, 2 years later, 10.5 inch(fast grower)
IT, started at 5 inch, 2.5 years later, 10.5 inch.
IT, started at 4 inch, 1.5 years later, 8 inch (fast grower, eats pellets)
NGT, started at 2.5 inch, 4 months later, 4 inch (eats pellets)
NGT, started at 2.5 inch, 4 monthsd later, 3 inch
NGT, started at 6 inch, 4 months later, 7 inch (eats pellets)
NTT, started at 8 inch, 4 months later, 8.5 inch

Just some growth rates above from some of my tigers, some grow much quicker than others.

I found with the bigger ones, growth rate "length-wise", REALLY noticably slows down after 9-10 inch. after this size, they start to bulk out, grow wider and taller.
