I have Jack Dempsey's at 1.5" and 3".
A pair of Jaguars at about 3" (seems like one has doubled in size in about a month)
A pair of green terrors at 2".
Brown knifefish and EGBK at about 8" (maybe less, my estimation skills are weak).

The cichlids are divided up between two 55s, and the knives are in a 46.

Just from observation it seem like the jaguar cichlid is growing the fastest. I read in another thread that they grow to 8-10" in one year. Does that sound about right?

IMO you are fine with what you have. A 75 would be a good idea in another year.

Yes the jaguars will grow very fast. He should be big in a year. Your JD's/GT will grow a tad slower.

I'm guessing the jaguar pair is in a 55g by themselves? If not that's probably how I would keep them.

No they are not currently, but I will consider changing it that way.

Do you think I could house all of these in a 180gallon?

I think so, but the brown/african knife fish will become dovii dinner eventually.
