How long before my RDs pair off?

I have a 8" male RD added four 3 inch RD juveniles how long before they pair up?

umm i hope you added them on the other side of a divider or there wont be any pairing up just killing, other than that i would think they would start pairing up at about that size, what size is the tank?

could be as soon as/ long as 10 days, 10 months, 10 yrs or never.

There is no set time limit on how long it takes fish to pair up or if they even will. Some take longer than others, some shorter...and some kill every other tank mate, which is what my 2 RDs wanted to do.

Got em in a 55 w/ a divider but the little ones can get to the other side but the large RD doesn't care he swims with them.
