How long before they color up!!!!

Flower horns i got 2 fry 5.99 a piece they are 1 inch just wondering how long it takes before they color up!!!

really depends on their genes...but usually around 1 to 2 inches you should be seeing some red...i've bought some from LFS and they didnt come out really good..so i finally ordered some on Aquabid..$20 for a fry..if your lucky you get a master peice..if not..you get a decent looking one
